Milwaukee set to close three TIF districts

The City of Milwaukee, Milwaukee Public Schools, and Milwaukee County, in addition to other taxing bodies, will have access to close to $19.4 million in tax base following the proposed closure of three of Milwaukee’s more than 90 tax incremental finance districts or TIDs.

Racine-based manufacturer Twin Disc Inc. has reached an agreement to sell its corporate headquarters to Milwaukee-based real estate development firm J. Jeffers & Co. LLC, according to an SEC filing.

Milwaukee-based civil engineering, planning and design firm GRAEF-USA Inc. announced that it has acquired Sarasota, Florida-based coastal and civil engineering firm Erickson Consulting Engineers.
