Site on Milwaukee’s northwest side picked for new juvenile prison

Plans are moving forward to close two youth correctional facilities in Wisconsin and replace them with a new facility that will be built in Milwaukee. On Tuesday, Gov. Tony Evers announced a new juvenile prison is pegged to be built on Milwaukee’s northwest side at 7930 W. Clinton Ave.

SoFresh raises another $3.3 million to help growth into new food markets

Kenosha-based SoFresh, Inc. has raised another $3.3 million that will be used to support the company as it ventures into new food markets. That’s according to an Aug. 2 SEC filing that shows SoFresh has raised a total of $5.6 million over its lifetime.

Komatsu Mining finalizing cleanup report related to Menomonee River oil spill
