Milwaukee data science company Sift Healthcare raises $9 million

Milwaukee-based Sift Healthcare, a data science company that helps health care providers receive increased patient payment and payer reimbursement, has closed a $9 million Series A funding round. The round was led by Allos Ventures and First Trust Capital Partners. The Winnebago Seed Fund is one of several early investors in the company.

Metro Milwaukee home sales down 3.8% for first half of year

Home sales in the four-county metro Milwaukee area were down 3.8% during the first half of the year, compared to a year ago, and 10.6% in June, year-over-year, according to the latest home sale data from the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors.

Molina Healthcare will pay approximately $150 million, net of expected tax benefits and required regulatory capital, to acquire substantially all the assets of MCW.
