The owner of a gas station at the northwest corner of West Lincoln Avenue and South 35th Street in Milwaukee plans to construct a new grocery store building on a city-owned site next door.

Festival Foods buys former Target store in Greenfield

Minneapolis-based Target Corp. has sold its former store in Greenfield to an affiliate of De Pere-based grocery store chain Festival Foods, according to state records.

Insomnia Cookies store in the works for Deer District

Newtown Square, Pennsylvania-based Insomnia Cookies has submitted plans to open a location inside a Milwaukee Bucks-owned retail building adjacent to The Beer Garden, an outdoor event space and bar that opened in fall 2018 near Fiserv Forum.

Kohl’s reports slight downturn in 2019 holiday sales

The recent holiday rush was slower than it was last year for Kohl's Corp. The Menomonee Falls-based retailer today reported comparable sales in November and December 2019 decreased 0.2% from the same period last year.

Brookfield lighting retailer to close
