Metro Milwaukee home sales increased in July

Midwest Express signs agreement with Maine airline to launch service

The group working to re-launch Midwest Express Airlines in Milwaukee announced today that it has signed an agreement with Portland, Maine-based Elite Airways LLC to begin non-stop flight service from Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee.

Drury Hotel in downtown Milwaukee to open in early fall

Work to redevelop the former First Financial Center office building in downtown Milwaukee into a Drury Hotel is progressing and the hotel’s general manager Chris Palid says it is scheduled to open on Sept. 26.

Franklin Energy Group to be acquired by Boston-based private equity firm

Port Washington-based Franklin Energy Group will be acquired by Boston-based Abry Partners, which will purchase majority ownership of the company from Mount Kisco, New York-based private equity firm Kohlberg & Company LLC and its other stockholders, according to a news release.
