A former Pick ‘n Save store building in New Berlin that recently became home to the state’s first VASA Fitness location has been sold for $12.6 million, according to state records.

Former Johnsonville chief executive officer and board chairman Ralph Stayer purchased a two-bedroom, 4,264-square-foot condo in the University Club Tower building in downtown Milwaukee from a revocable trust connected to former Bucyrus CEO and former REV Group CEO Tim Sullivan for about $2.6 million, according to state records.

Iron District MKE site sold to developers for $12.5 million

Bear Development and Kacmarcik Enterprises have purchased the land where they plan to construct a sprawling sports and entertainment district, called Iron District MKE, on roughly 11 acres previously owned by Marquette University.

City giving scooters another shot

Less than a year after city officials banned dockless scooters downtown and in nearby areas, the Milwaukee Common Council has approved the city’s third scooter pilot study aimed at seeing if Milwaukee residents and visitors can make proper use of the scooters.
