Grafton-based SEEK Careers/Staffing Inc. has acquired Appleton-based Landmark Staffing Resources Inc. from Monica Vomastic. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The firms are similarly woman-owned and independent, with similar values and goals, according to a statement from SEEK Careers.
Vomastic plans to pursue other interests. Landmark had five employees, one of whom – Hilary Rafuse –will join SEEK in the integration. The Landmark office in Appleton will close and Rafuse will join SEEK’s Appleton office as a talent specialist.
“Acquiring Landmark Staffing was a strategic move aligned with our desire to gain the expertise of their specialty in corporate and office support placements in the Fox Valley area,” said Carol Schneider, CPC, SPHR, chief executive officer and founder of SEEK.

Seek Careers/Staffing is a commercial skilled and unskilled labor staffing firm with about 110 employees at 17 locations in Wisconsin and one in Minnesota. In October, its Grafton professional staffing sister company, Seek Professionals LLC, acquired Milwaukee-based technical staffing firm The Waterstone Group.
