The Blind Horse Winery releases wine with Bored Ape NFT labels

Kohler-based The Blind Horse Winery announced this week a first-of-its-kind wine release in partnership with cryptocurrency company VaporFi. The Blind Horse Winery’s 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon, released this week, features a NFT label from The Bored Ape Yacht Club.

First-floor storefront at The Avenue to become event space

A long-vacant, former retail space on the North Second Street facing side of The Avenue in downtown Milwaukee will be transformed into a 300-person events space, restauranteur Omar Shaikh confirmed.

Foxtown Landing project endorsed by Third Ward Architectural Review Board

Foxtown Brewing, an affiliate of Mequon-based dog food maker Fromm Nieman Brands has received approval for a certificate of appropriateness from the Third Ward Architectural Review Board for its plans to build a 28,000-square-foot, restaurant, tap room and distillery located northeast of St. Paul and Plankinton avenues along the Milwaukee River.

Pilot Project Milwaukee set to open next Friday

Chicago-based Pilot Project Brewing is on track to open its new Milwaukee location next Friday. The brewery incubator acquired both the old Milwaukee Brewing Company facility at 1128 N. 9th St. and the Bottlehouse 42 restaurant in September.
