Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy launches $25 million capital campaign
Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy (HFCA) has officially launched a $25 million capital campaign. The campaign was created to help fund the construction of a new high school building, which could eventually lead to a proposed new feeder middle school. The launch of this campaign puts into motion plans for expansion the academy shared with BizTimes Media in March.

Vivent Health names new COO
Milwaukee-based Vivent Health announced that it has named Brandon Hill as its new executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Summerfest attendance this year was far below pre-pandemic levels
Total attendance for Summerfest 2022 was 445,611, according to its producer, Milwaukee World Festival Inc. That’s an 8.8% increase compared to attendance of 409,386 in 2021, but far below pre-pandemic levels for the festival.

Sculpture Milwaukee piece finds permanent home on Northwestern Mutual’s downtown Milwaukee campus
If you've passed Northwestern Mutual's downtown Milwaukee headquarters in the past three years, you may have spotted a 37-foot-tall stainless steel tree standing out among the gardens in front of the office tower. The artwork has been on display since 2019 as part of Sculpture Milwaukee's annual streetside exhibition, and now, it's there to stay.
