Wisconsin Center District names design team for convention center expansion project

The long-planned expansion of the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee took another step forward on Thursday, when officials announced the selection of an architectural team for the project,  consisting of Atlanta-based tvsdesign and Milwaukee-based Eppstein Uhen Architects.

Former Zahn’s department store in downtown Racine could become 80-room boutique hotel

The $27 million downtown Racine hotel project that Milwaukee-based Dominion Properties is pursuing consists of transforming the former Zahn's department store building into a 79,900-square-foot, 80-room boutique hotel, city officials announced Wednesday.

Oak Creek approves agreement with developer for $30 million hotel, event center project near Ikea

The city of Oak Creek and a Wisconsin Dells-based hotel developer and operator will partner to develop two hotels totaling up to 221 rooms and an 11,500-square-foot conference and event center on land just south of the Ikea furniture store in Oak Creek, comprising an investment of over $30 million.
