The Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) hosted the first annual For the Health of It! benefit recently at the Pfister Hotel to raise money for the Gilda’s Club SE Wisconsin chapter. The chefs from several well-known Milwaukee restaurants, including Lake Park Bistro, Cubanitias, Coquette Café, and Devon Seafood Grill, served tasting of their finest foods to raise money for people living with cancer. The night featured 17 chefs, a silent auction featuring kitchen cookware and other items and a food demonstration by CTCA executive chef Judith Hallisey. In addition, nutritionist Kim Dalzell provided a presentation offering easy-to-understand, actionable nutrition recommendations.
