The theme of this year’s event is “Hollywood & Vine,” and is being billed as a night of “glitz and glamour” among the animals. The black-tie event will include live music, cocktails, dinner, dancing and a silent auction.

Auction items will include travel packages, dining experiences, sporting event tickets and spa specials. Proceeds will benefit the Zoological society.

The Zoo Ball has raised nearly $10 million for the society over the last 33 years. Last year’s ball raised more than $500,000.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. and end with after-dinner drinks, coffee and cigars at 10:30 p.m.

Those interested in obtaining an invitation should call Laura Knollenberg at 414-258-2333.
