What has fueled your company’s growth? The eBusiness solutions that we provide to our B2B and B2C clients help them pursue alternate channel strategies, new means of customer acquisition and the ability to run operations more efficiently. Driving incremental revenue and efficiency are always important but appear to be even more critical during this economic downturn. Our ability to help companies grow sales and our ability to improve their operational efficiency and effectiveness by automating systems and processes has helped us grow as a company. An example of this would be: manufacturing companies are now able to make their processes much leaner through the use of our effective IT solutions. Our product configurators and middleware that integrate their back-end systems to effective customer interfaces, help them bypass processes such as quoting and scheduling, enabling jobs to be sent right to the production floor.
What is the biggest obstacle to your company’s growth?
Like any rapidly growing company we are faced with the challenge of recruiting high quality personnel with the right combination of both technical and soft skills. We are looking to find the right people who can take the company through the next phase of growth.
Do you plan any changes in your company in the upcoming months?
We are constantly seeking ways to further penetrate our target markets while looking for new growth markets. Internally we are taking steps to improve our operational delivery model so that we too are operating as efficiently as possible.
Who are the business people, locally or nationally, whom you admire? And what traits do those people exhibit that make you admire them?
I admire the innovators who are able to dramatically change the way consumers think about products or services. Steven Jobs is an innovator in the world of software, consumer electronics and even movie making. In my generation he is the standard for product innovation.
What is the outlook for the business conditions of your industry over the next several months?
The outlook for our industry is very favorable despite the economic downturn. Our e-commerce solutions provide companies with newer, cost effective and more convenient avenues for growth. I would like to quote Forrester here in their ‘U.S. eCommerce Forecast, 2008 To 2013′, “While the overall retail pie shrinks as consumers cut back their overall spend, consumers will still continue to shift their wallet share to the web channel.” Hence, the future for us is very bright as we continue to respond to more and more requests for selling products and services online.
What is your company’s key strategy for rising out of the recession?
Our strategy will continue to be to look for new markets that need our specific products and services. We will leverage our loyal installed base of clients to refer us to new business and we will look for alternate selling channels that are frequently asked to source the services we provide. Many of our solution partners are bringing us opportunities as they see us successfully deploy their technology in an efficient and competent manner.
