Welcome to the inaugural publication of WisconsinBiz

Learn more about:

The mission of this special magazine is threefold:

  1. To provide resources for Wisconsin-based businesses to grow in the state
  2. To provide resources for out-of-state businesses considering a move to Wisconsin
  3. - Advertisement -
  4. To help attract and retain top talent in Wisconsin

This publication serves as a toolbox for economic growth, with in-depth information and resources on Wisconsin’s leading industry clusters; a roundup of the academic research that fuels opportunities for businesses to grow here; profiles of regional economic development agencies; and a roundup of the economic impact of the Native American Tribal Communities in Wisconsin.

We also wanted to highlight why Wisconsin is such a great place to live and work, so we open with our Top 5 Reasons to do business here. There are also plenty of statistical snapshots and photographs of the state.

BizTimes Media is thrilled to partner with Gov. Scott Walker, the newly created Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, the University of Wisconsin System and Associated Bank to facilitate commerce in this state. That’s a key part of our company’s mission.

Finally, we would like to thank all of the corporate and institutional sponsors and advertisers for supporting this initiative and making this special project possible.

The Wisconsin way has always been “Forward.” That is precisely where we are headed. It’s in our DNA. We’re confident this special publication will provide an entry point for companies to grow in Wisconsin.
