Walker’s cabinet has Milwaukee influences

Gov. Scott Walker’s new cabinet has some Milwaukee overtones.
Cynthia Archer, who served as administration director/budget director for Milwaukee County under Walker, will be the deputy secretary at the Administration Department.
Former Port Washington Mayor and state Rep. Mark Gottlieb was selected by Walker to head Transportation. Gottlieb is a registered professional engineer in the state.
Walker tapped Manuel "Manny" Perez, head of Milwaukee staffing firm JNA, as his secretary of the Department of Workforce Development.
Department of Children and Families Secretary Eloise Anderson previously worked at Northcott Neighborhood House, a community organization in Milwaukee. Recently Anderson served as the director of the California Department of Social Services, Wisconsin Administrator of the Division of Community Services, and as an assistant to the Dane County executive.
Dave Fantle, who previously worked as the VP of public relations for Visit Milwaukee, will be the deputy secretary at the Department of Tourism.
