The Southeast Wisconsin chapter of the SCORE small business counseling organization will sponsor an early evening conference and counseling event on Monday, June 6, at the Country Springs Hotel, 2810 Golf Road in Pewaukee.
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker will be the keynote speaker, followed by first-person business success stories, business seminars, networking, and an opportunity for business owners and key managers to meet personally with SCORE mentors and receive business counseling.
Registration will begin at 4:30 p.m., and the conference will start at 5 p.m.
Walker’s comments will be followed by a series of short recaps from executives of successful area businesses that were counseled by SCORE.
Attendees will then have an opportunity to meet a SCORE mentor, and to attend two seminars, titled “Social Media – A Marketing Must” and “How to Grow Your Business Now.”
The conference is free, but pre-registration is required. Registration is available through SCORE SE Wisconsin’s website, www.scoresewisconsin.org or by phone, (414) 297-3943, and is open only to principals and executives of ongoing small businesses. Space is limited, and same-day registration is not allowed.
