‘Terminator 2’ motorcycle to join Harley-Davidson collection

Organizations:

The Harley-Davidson Museum is enhancing its collection of iconic motorcycles with the Harley-Davidson FatBoy motorcycle ridden by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1991 action film, “Terminator 2: Judgment Day.”

The motorcycle, which is one of the few remaining bikes used in the production of the film, will be a permanent part of the museum’s collection in the coming months. The motorcycle is a 1990 model and was among Harley-Davidson’s newest models when “Terminator 2” premiered.

“Terminator 2 is an iconic film and a celebrated piece of pop culture history,” said Jim Fricke, curatorial director of the Harley-Davidson Museum. “This motorcycle arguably played one of the most significant film roles in Harley-Davidson’s history, and we’re thrilled it has found its permanent home here at the museum, where it will be preserved for future generations.”

The Harley-Davidson Museum has not disclosed when the motorcycle will be on display for public viewing.
