Target to donate holiday trees to Waukesha United Way

Learn more about:

Each year, Target stores across the country partner with United Way to donate nearly 3,000 decorated holiday trees as part of its Share-a-Tree program. This year, Three Waukesha County Target stores will donate a total of seven to 10 trees for families and partner organizations in Waukesha County.
“We value our relationship with Target,” said Jayne Thoma, executive director of United Way in Waukesha County. “For more than 20 years, this partnership has enabled us to create memorable holiday experiences for individuals and families throughout the Waukesha County community.”
As further demonstration of Target’s commitment to partnering with United Way to create opportunities for a better life for all people, Target and its Team Members pledged more than $14.3 million through their 2010 United Way workplace giving campaign.
“Giving to others, especially to those in need, is a part of the holidays at Target,” said Laysha Ward, president of Target Community Relations. “With our partners at United Way, Target is honored to continue our tradition of donating holiday trees to families across the country to enjoy this holiday season.”
