This photo shows the prison ship Success of Melbourne on the Milwaukee River. The Success was an Australian prison ship later converted to a floating museum that toured in the U.S. from about 1912 to 1945. Here, it is docked in front of 101 W. Wisconsin Ave., which was home to Gimbel’s department store and now houses a Planet Fitness gym.
