What has fueled your company’s growth? Our growth has been fueled by an expanding economy and deeper penetration into the markets we serve.
What is the biggest obstacle to your company’s growth? Rising yearly health insurance costs and the shrinking of a skilled labor pool have made continued growth more difficult. In addition, the rising cost and availability of steel can be a challenge.
Do you plan any changes in your company in the upcoming months? We anticipate breaking ground on a building expansion within the next few months. We are also going to continue to add talented people to our organization.
Who are the business people, locally or nationally, whom you admire? And what traits do those people exhibit that make you admire them? I respect a number of local business people and many in other cities across the country. However, it’s our employees I admire most. Their dedication and loyalty to the company and our customers is what makes Steele Solutions a great company.
What is the outlook for the business conditions of your industry over the next several months? The housing slowdown and the decline in consumer spending will probably cause businesses to pull back on expanding capital goods expenditures.
