Snap-on sponsors wish for Make-A-Wish child

Kenosha-based Snap-on Inc., recently paired up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to give 17 year-old, Cody Sears, of Camden County, New Jersey, who was diagnosed with mucinous cystadenocarcinoma a full set of Snap-on tools. Sears regularly helps in his father’s shop and wants to pursue a career as an automotive technician.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin and New Jersey collaborated with Snap-on to make this wish come true.
“We are honored that Cody chose Snap-on tools for his wish, and we thank Make-A-Wish Foundation for giving us the opportunity to participate,” said Alicia Smales, vice president and chief marketing officer or Snap-on Incorporated.  “We hope this small gesture will provide Cody and his father hours of time together doing something they both enjoy.”
Snap-on agreed to sponsor the entire wish and to have the tools delivered to Cody’s house by New Jersey-based Snap-on franchisee Mike Barley.
“Snap-on has become an incredible champion of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. They gave Cody and his family hope for the future, strength to fight his illness, and hours of joy.” said Patti Gorsky, pesident and CEO of Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin. “A wish come true helps children like Cody feel stronger, more energetic and more willing and able to battle their life-threatening medical conditions. We’re so grateful for Snap-on’s commitment to the Make-A-Wish mission.”
