Silgan Containers will eliminate 38 jobs at its plant in Menomonee Falls at N90 W14600 Commerce Drive.
The company is relocating a production line from Menomonee Falls to an unspecified plant, according to a layoff notice filed with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.
The Woodland Hills, Calif.-based company will begin the layoffs in December, according to the notice. The layoffs will include 35 unionized hourly employees and three salaried employees.
Silgan is the largest provider of metal food packaging in the nation.
