Roadrunner names division presidents

Cudahy-based Roadrunner Transportation Systems Inc. has named presidents for each of its three businesses.

Grant Crawford has been hired as president of the less-than-truckload division, Patrick McKay has been promoted to president of the truckload logistics division and Kevin Charlebois has been promoted to president of the transportation management solutions division.

Crawford will be responsible for leading operations in the segment during its North America expansion. He is a transportation sector veteran with extensive international operations experience, most recently as vice president-international operations at FedEx Freight Inc.

Charlebois will supervise the whole TMS division. He joined Roadrunner in 2011 and most recently served as president-freight consolidation and inventory management. He has 17 previous years of experience in leadership roles at FedEx Ground.

All three division presidents will report to Brian van Helden, chief operating officer. This step completes the reorganization of the firm’s executive suite, which began in January with van Helden’s promotion to COO. Mark Peterson was named executive vice president of sales in June. The executive management team now comprises seven people.

Our executive management team is positioned to continue driving the company forward as we work to become a leading multi-billion dollar transportation provider.”
