What was the best deal you’ve ever been involved in? "There have been a lot of fulfilling projects both big and small, but the one that comes to mind is the new Arthur Andersen space created in the mid-’90s. The new 55,000-square-foot office that was created by the company I was working with at the time was looked upon globally by the organization as the benchmark for the new look and fit for all of their offices. We had people from Arthur Andersen flying in from all over the world to see the office space that we had designed."
What was the funniest moment of your career? "I was selling copiers in the mid-’70s. I sold a machine to a  to a doctor in Menomonee Falls and after it was delivered, I got a call from another doctor next door – he wanted to order three more copiers just like his associate’s! I was so excited, but soon heard the rest of the sales team laughing, because they had made the call!"
