What are you working on? "I am currently working on a mixture of residential and commercial transactions. Most of my residential projects are in Milwaukee and Waukesha counties and range from condos to single and multi-family homes. On the commercial side I am working on some small retail store listings and a few land and development projects."
How does the market look to you? "The residential market has obviously been pretty rough, although I wouldn’t know it judging by how busy things have been since the early part of this year. I think that the early residential numbers are going to change for the better through the remainder of the year. Buyers are still going to have the advantage, and great deals will still be had for the next 12 to 18 months. Sellers need to be realistic about the bottom line and what their home is really worth, and also be willing to negotiate hard and strong."
What was the best deal you have ever been involved in? "Every deal is different and rewarding in different ways. I would say that since most of my real estate experience lies in the residential market, my greatest deals have come with first time home buyers. There has been nothing more rewarding in my career then to see someone get their first home!"
What was the funniest moment of your career? "The funniest moment of my career has to be the day I told my relatives that I was going into real estate! I think they thought I was nuts, but I wouldn’t change that decision for anything!"
