“The museum is a significant cultural institution, and when I look at its legacy, I am amazed at what we have achieved: an incredible foundation on which we can build a remarkable and sustainable future,” Quadracci said. “Investing in the arts and art education is so important to community vitality and the overall quality of life here. It is my honor and privilege to deepen my involvement by taking on this position.”

Quadracci’s family has long supported the museum. Joel Quadracci’s parents, Quad/Graphics founders Harry and Betty Quadracci, provided funding for the museum’s Calatrava-designed expansion in 2001. Harry and Betty Quadracci also founded Windhover Foundation, which supports the museum.

“We are incredibly grateful that Joel has deepened his already considerable involvement with the museum,” said Marcelle Polednik, the Donna and Donald Baumgartner director of the Milwaukee Art Museum. “Joel’s keen understanding of the museum’s connection to people’s lives and the community and his business acumen are invaluable, especially as we undertake the strategic planning process.”
