Printing companies merge

Organizations:

Waukesha-based printing company Citypress and West Allis-based printing company EGX Group have merged.

The new company will be known as Citypress, and EGX employees will now work out of the Citypress’ 15,000-square-foot facility at W238 N1650 Rockwood Drive in Waukesha.

EGX owner John Selix is retiring. Selix owns the EGX buildings, which Citypress did not retain in the transaction.

Citypress has about 20 employees, and EGX has about 15.

By merging, Citypress and EGX will combine resources in digital imaging, full color printing, mail fulfillment and customer service.

“Both companies saw a real opportunity to grow and gain additional printing expertise through the merger,” said Rick Lau, co-owner of Citypress. “We are confident this will insure a bright future for the new company.”
