Michael O’Connor joined Bader Rutter & Associates, Brookfield, as a senior account executive in the relationship marketing group. O’Connor has more than nine years of direct marketing experience and most recently served as marketing account manager for the American Society for Quality, Milwaukee.

Boelter + Lincoln, Milwaukee, hired Jeremy Bessoff as Avid editor, Susan Locke as junior art director and Brad Schultz as senior art director. Prior to joining Boelter + Lincoln, Bessoff served as a video pages producer for The Quad City Times, Davenport, Iowa. Locke holds a bachelor’s degree in art with an emphasis in graphic design from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Schultz most recently served as a creative supervisor for Potawatomi Bingo Casino.

Z2 Marketing + Design, Delafield, hired Pete Prodoehl as web developer and promoted Larissa Beckenbaugh to art director and Dana Ziolkowski to public relations specialist. Prior to joining Z2, Prodoehl worked for Quad/Creative, Sussex; Cygnus Interactive, a division of Cygnus Business Media, Fort Atkinson, and Waukesha County Technical College, Pewaukee. Beckenbaugh has worked for Z2 for about two years and holds a bachelor’s degree from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. Ziolkowski has been with the firm for three years and holds a degree from UW-Milwaukee.

Sue Strassburger joined the account services team at Mercury Communication Partners, Elm Grove.

Scheibel Halaska, Milwaukee, promoted Andy Narrai to director of client services. Narrai has been with Scheibel Halaska for two years and most recently served as director of business development.

C2 Graphics Productive Solutions (C2), Milwaukee, hired Jim Simon as education coordinator and Alexander Lucas as video instructor. Lucas holds a bachelor’s degree in history and communications from American University.

Architecture

Plunkett Raysich Architects, Milwaukee, hired Cheryl Brah as human resources manager, Sara Ervin as an interior designer and Cherie LaFrance re-joined the company as a senior interior designer. Brah has 16 years of human resource experience and most recently served as the director of employee services for Wauwatosa Savings Bank, Wauwatosa. Ervin has two years of experience and most recently served as a designer for M&M Office Interiors, Pewaukee. LaFrance has 23 years of experience. She previously worked for Plunkett Raysich in 1997 and most recently served as an interior designer for Mertins Custom Cabinets, Nashotah.

PDC Midwest, Hartland, hired Scott Strutz as architectural designer and Jonathan Synovic, as architectural designer and information technology (IT) coordinator. Strutz has more than six years of architectural experience. Synovic has more than seven years of architectural experience.

Susan Bisswurm joined Annex Wealth Management, Brookfield, as and investment advisor. Bisswurm has more than 18 years of tax experience.

Building & Construction

Julie Wood joined VJS Construction Services (VJS), Pewaukee, as project manager. Prior to joining VJS, Wood worked for J.H. Findorff & Son, Madison, for nine years.

The Brookfield office of M. A. Mortenson, Minneapolis, promoted Mike Hebbring, Chris Kyte, Ryan Risch and Bret Woodland to project manager positions. Hebbring has been with Mortenson since 2002 and holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology from UW-Stout. Kyte joined the company in 2001 and holds a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering with an emphasis on construction management from UW-Madison. Risch joined the company in 2001 and holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and construction management from UW-Madison. Woodland joined Mortenson’s Minneapolis office in 2001 and transferred to the Brookfield office in 2006. He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from UW-Stout.

David Ugrich joined dbi, Pewaukee, as a design and construction consultant. Ugrich has 17 years of experience in the construction industry.

Thomas Hagner, president of Better Building by Weather-Seal, Racine, will serve as president of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), Des Plaines, Ill. Hagner is a member and past president of Milwaukee NARI. He served as vice president of NARI for the past two years.

Engineering

Ryan Amtmann joined Ruekert/Mielke, Waukesha, as a project manager in the civil and municipal department. Amtmann has 12 years of experience as a project engineer and project manager.

Margaret Malone joins Graef Anhalt Schloemer & Associates, Milwaukee, as a business development representative. Malone has 26 years of experience in the design and construction industry.

Kyle Pionek joined Burkwald & Associates, Pewaukee, as a client relations manager. Pionek has more than seven years of experience in the financial services and insurance industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Marquette University.

Government Organizations

Jason Williams joined the City of Brookfield Department of Community Development as a neighborhood planner and designer in the planning office. Prior to joining the City of Brookfield, Williams served as a development coordinator and planner for the City of West Allis. He holds a bachelor’s degree in geography and earth science from UW-LaCrosse and a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from UW-Madison.

Jessica Raddemann joined the Wellness Council of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, as associate director. Prior to joining the Wellness Council, Raddemann served as an account advisor and health education consultant for Humana, Louisville, Ky. Dana Hogan, a project manager for On-Site Health Care, Franklin, joined the board of directors for the Wellness Council.

Laurie Boddie joined Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa, as chief learning officer. Boddie previously worked for the University of Michigan,

Ann Arbor, Mich., and with Cox Communications, Atlanta. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and religious studies from the University of Virginia, and a master of divinity degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Sharon Braun joined LutheranLiving Services, Lutheran Home and Harwood Place, Wauwatosa, as director of employee resources. Braun has about 20 years of experience in human resources and previously served in director and managerial positions with Columbia St. Mary’s, Milwaukee, and Ozaukee Bank, Cedarburg.

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, hired Margie Spencer as chief financial officer and Tye Minckler as vice president of operations. Spencer has more than 17 years of experience as a health care executive and consultant. Prior to joining the Medical College, Spencer served as chief operation officer of the faculty practice plan affiliated with the University of Washington, School of Medicine. Minckler most recently served as director of facilities development and management for the University of Washington, School of Medicine.

Insurance

Charlie Kilander joined Integrated Risk Solutions, Pewaukee, as a risk management account specialist. Kilander previously served as an account executive with Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, Boston, for 16 years.

Landscaping & Maintenance

Bryan Clark joined the landscape design department of Hawks Nursery, Wauwatosa. Clark has 14 years of experience in landscape design.

Legal Services

Katherine Benson joined Falk Metz, Chicago and Milwaukee, as an associate attorney in the Milwaukee office. Benson holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton and a law degree from DePaul University.

Lighting

Stay-Lite Lighting, Pewaukee, promoted Randy Breske to vice president. Breske has more than 18 years of experience in the lighting management industry.

Manufacturing

Welch Goggins, president and chief executive officer of Cleaver-Brooks, Milwaukee, will serve as chairman of the American Boiler Manufacturers Association (ABMA), Vienna, Va., board of directors and executive committee. Goggins has more than 30 years of experience in the boiler industry. He is also serving a three-year term as a member of the board of directors, ending in January 2008.

Media

WUWM 89.7 FM Milwaukee Public Radio promoted Amanda Shalhoub to assistant program director and hired Maria Dixon as a donor fulfillment specialist. Shalhoub has been with WUWM since 2003 and most recently served as a broadcast specialist. She also serves as co-host of Café Tonight. Dixon holds two bachelors degrees, in criminal justice and political science and a master’s degree in criminal justice from UW-Milwaukee.

Technology

Angela Daron joined CCI, Milwaukee, as business development manager. Daron has more than 15 years of experience in project management, product development and customer service.
