John Weitzer of Wells Fargo, San Francisco, will serve as president of The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Society of Milwaukee. David Becker of Northern Oak Capital Management, Milwaukee, will serve as vice president; Jeff Schrom of Baird Advisors, Milwaukee, will serve as secretary and Lora Olencheck of U.S. Bank Capital Markets Group, Minneapolis, will serve as treasurer.

USA Funding Corp., Brookfield, hired Rob Chandler as an account executive, Shawn Krueger as a servicing assistant and Edward Miller and Steven White as retail loan consultants.

Ideal Financial Services, Brookfield, hired Ross Bartkowski as a loan officer and Keren Becker as an administrative specialist.

Scott Godden, director and chief operating officer for Med-Health Financial Services, Milwaukee, joined the board of directors for the National Healthcare

Collectors Association (NHCA), Roanoke, Va.. He will become president of the national organization in 2008.

Total Comfort of Wisconsin, Pewaukee, promoted Brian Hoernke to plumbing division manager and hired Jon Friske as vice president in the fire protection division as well as Steve Kinnamon as project manager and Lee Souther as sales engineer in the division.

The Brookfield office of M.A. Mortenson, Minneapolis, hired Craig Wacker as a field engineer and promoted Blanca Abend to senior graphic designer, Mike Gleeson and Nahid Keltner to

Chamness Consulting, Milwaukee, promoted Olivia Marshall to associate and director of internal operations and human relations.

Education

Jonathan Winkle joined the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) as vice president of institutional advancement. Winkle previously served as executive director and general manager of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, Knoxville, Tenn., and vice president for community engagement for the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

Engineering

Daphne Odishoo joined R.A. Smith & Associates, Brookfield, as a civil engineer in the municipal engineering services division. Odishoo has four years of experience in civil engineering. She holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from UW-Platteville.

Fitness Centers

World Class Health & Fitness, Waukesha, hired Robert Boyce as head of corporate wellness programs and the personal training department and Jessie Weyer as program director and head of the Pilates program. Boyce has more than 10 years of experience in the fitness industry. Weyer has more than seven years of experience.

Health Care

John Splude and Rick Johnson joined the board of directors of Ministry Health Care, Milwaukee. Splude serves as chairman and chief executive officer of HK Systems, New Berlin. Johnson serves as chief financial officer, senior vice president of finance and treasurer of Badger Meter, Milwaukee.

Children’s Hospital and Health System, Milwaukee, promoted Larry Duncan to vice president of regional services. Duncan joined the health system in 1997 and most recently served as vice president of ambulatory and diagnostics for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa.

John Haack joined Pine Haven Christian Home, Sheboygan Falls, as director of the Pine Haven Foundation. Haack holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in economics and business from the University of Denver.

Olympia Resort & Conference Center, Oconomowoc, promoted Kris Mosier to director of sales and catering, Jill Andruscavage to sales manager and Justin Karides to chief engineer. Olympia hired Terri Lindemann as spa manager; Jim Bomm as outlet manager; Crystal Benson as social catering manager; Kelly Harrison as corporate catering manager; Jeff Brunk as director of banquets; Naomi Sikora as front office manager and Renelle Murphy as executive housekeeping director.

Zilli Hospitality Group, Waukesha, promoted Anthony Zilli to director of business development.

Nate Lindbeck joined Diversified Insurance Services, Waukesha, as an account executive in the property and casualty division. Lindbeck has four years of insurance and sales experience.

Frank Gumina joined Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, Milwaukee, as an attorney in the labor and employment practice. Jason Williams joined Wixon, St. Francis, as regional account manager of industrial products. Williams has seven years of sales experience in the food industry and most recently worked for Brisan Ingredients, Des Plaines.

Walters Buildings, Allenton, promoted Brent Henschel to vice president of sales and marketing. Henschel has been with Walters for five years and most recently served as director of marketing and business development.

Actuant, Glendale, hired Susan Stults Korthase as vice president of human resources and named Ron Wieczorek to global training and development leader. Korthase previously served as vice president of global human resources for Sealed Air, Saddle Brook, N.J. Wieczorek most recently served as vice president of human resources.

Steve Rohrer joined WISN-TV Channel 12, Milwaukee, as media account executive.

Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) 90.7 WHAD-FM, Milwaukee, promoted Rita Thomas to full-time producer. Thomas joined WPR in 2005 and most recently served as a part-time on-air producer and production assistant. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication with a minor in ethnic studies from UW-Parkside.
