Extendicare Health Services, Milwaukee, announced four new hires. Betty Ulmer has joined the company’s legal department as corporate counsel, Rachel Carpenter has joined the firm’s facilities management department as secretary/receptionist, Renee Manske has joined the clinical services department as the administrative assistant and Thomas Buckett has joined the general accounting department as regional accountant.

Central States Mortgage, Wauwatosa, has added Mike Kurth and Douglas Gray to its staff. Both were previously with St. Francis Bank and have construction loan experience.
Lori Van Pay and Nepherterra Skala have been promoted to account executives at Mueller Communications, Milwaukee, while Cari Reisinger has been promoted to account coordinator and Jessica Braun has been hired as an account coordinator. Van Pay and Skala are both members of Mueller Communications government affairs team. Before her promotion to account coordinator, Reisinger completed a one-year internship with Mueller Communications. She graduated from UW-Milwaukee, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and mass communication with an emphasis in public relations. Prior to joining Mueller Communications, Braun interned at public relations firms in Minneapolis and at Milwaukee Repertory Theater. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in both German and journalism with an emphasis in public relations.
Troy Bartoshevich has joined Park Bank, Milwaukee, as assistant vice president and retail sales manager. Bartoshevich has more than 16 years of retail banking, management and financial consulting experience.
Baird Investment Management, Milwaukee, has named J. Bary Morgan chief investment officer. Morgan will continue to serve on the firm’s large cap investment committee. He joined Baird in 1992 and received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Louisiana Tech University. Morgan received a master’s degree from the Indiana University Graduate School of Business.
Nicholas Teichert has joined Total Team Construction, Brookfield, as the assistant project manager and superintendent. Teichert currently attends MSOE and is working on a double major in architectural engineering and construction management.
Scribner, Cohen and Co., Milwaukee, promoted several staff members. Gina DeRosso has been promoted to supervisor with the tax department. DeRosso graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Tammy Forster has been promoted to supervisor with the tax department. She is a graduate of Marquette University where she earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting with a minor in Spanish. Shawn Howard has been promoted to senior accountant with the tax department. He graduated from Marquette University with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. Brian Wilson has been promoted to tax compliance senior. Wilson graduated from UW-Milwaukee.
R&R Insurance Services, Waukesha, has hired Geoffrey Verges as employee benefits consultant. Verges’ background ranges from sales representative experience for Sentry Insurance to district sales coordinator for AFLAC Insurance. Verges holds a bachelor of science degree from UW-Oshkosh.
David J. Boyd has joined the staff of DBI, Pewaukee, as manager of architectural services. Boyd has 13 years of architectural experience.
Amy Wangerin has joined Voss Jorgensen Schueler, Waukesha, as human resources manager. Wangerin has 13 years of experience in the human resources field. She completed her graduate and undergraduate studies at the UW-Madison.
Greg Butler has joined Wipfli as a partner in the tax division at the Milwaukee office in Wauwatosa. Butler has more than 15 years of experience serving primarily closely held companies, and specializes in state and local taxation issues in both income/franchise and sales/use taxation.
Crispell-Snyder, Lake Geneva, announced 12 promotions. Brandon A. Foss and Kelly L. Zylstra were promoted to project manager. Christine M. Gaynes and Lawrence T. Perra were promoted to project engineer. Matthew J. Garon was promoted to project engineer and transferred to the firm’s Germantown office. Timothy J. Hastings, Michael W. Rubendall, Steven R. Houte and
Timothy P. Henney were promoted to senior engineering technician. Virginia H. Thompson has been reclassified as a CAD administrator, and Jonathan D. Klepp and Robert J. Yopp were promoted to construction surveyor.
The LePoidevin Rickinger Group, Brookfield, has named Tim Urban as senior art director. Prior to joining the agency, urban was a freelance art director in the Milwaukee area. He has more than 25 years of integrated marketing communications experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in art from UW-Oshkosh.
Mike Bowline has joined Fiduciary Real Estate Development, Milwaukee, as director of development for retail. Bowline has more than 20 years of commercial real estate and construction experience, including both new development projects and the remodeling and renovation of existing properties. Bowline has a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Kansas.
HealthReach Rehabilitation Services, Brookfield, announced the addition of four new employees. Tiffany Clark has been hired as secretary to the home service program, Mara Sebestyen has joined the Lymphedema Center as an occupational therapist and Lisa Pusheck has been added as a physical therapist. Kellie Anderson, an occupational therapist with 12 years of experience working with myofascial pain, has joined HealthReach as the director of The Myofascial Release Treatment Center at HealthReach Rehabilitation Services.
North Shore Bank announced that
Amy Komis has joined the bank as an investment consultant. Komis has 13 years of banking experience and most recently worked in the investment area of U.S. Bank.
Jeff Jenkins has joined Octane, Milwaukee, as senior copywriter. Prior to joining Octane, Jenkins served as senior copywriter at Sprecher Bertalot and Co., Milwaukee. He has also worked for Riddell Advertising and Design, Jackson Hole, Wyo., and BVK, Milwaukee. Jenkins holds a degree in English from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn.
Tim Sholtis has been promoted to president of mail operations for Instant Mailing Service, Waukesha. Sholtis has 24 years of experience in the industry.
Michele Hood has joined the team of Total Team Construction, Brookfield, as the director of business development. Hood has more than 18 years of construction management experience.
David H. Keck has been promoted at MSI General, Oconomowoc, to vice president of sales and marketing. Keck joined MSI in 1995 as project director in special projects and was subsequently manager of special projects in 2003. Keck received a bachelor’s degree from California State University in Fresno, Calif.
Marcus Hotels and Resorts, Milwaukee, has promoted Keith Halfmann to the newly created position of director of project management and food and beverage. Halfmann joined Marcus Hotels and Resorts in 1999 as director of food and beverage for the Pfister Hotel. He was promoted to director of operations at the Hilton Milwaukee, and was director of operations at the Grand Geneva Resort, Lake Geneva. Prior to joining Marcus Hotels and Resorts, he held senior positions at Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado. He also held senior food and beverage positions at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
Daniel D. Dub has joined Weiss Berzowski Brady, Milwaukee, as an associate in the business law practice group. Dub was previously with the law firm of Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren, Milwaukee, and has served as a law clerk and assistant to the general counsel for S.C. Johnson Commercial Markets. He is a graduate of UW and Marquette University Law School.
Deborah Geralts has joined Ogden & Co., Milwaukee, as a property manager in the condominium division. Geralts has 25 years of banking and real estate experience.
The Roberts Group, Waukesha, has hired Sara Glapa as business development coordinator. Most recently, Glapa was the southeast regional director of membership and professional services for the Wisconsin Medical Society, Madison. Glapa holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Carroll College.
Bel Air Health Care Center, Milwaukee, has announced the additions of Kate Brunner-Carroll and Jennifer Newbauer to its staff. Brunner-Carrol has accepted the position as clinical liaison/director of marketing and Newbauer will be serving as director of admissions. Prior to accepting her position with Bel Air, Brunner-Carroll worked at Hearthside Rehabilitation Center as the director of human resources and has been working in healthcare and long-term care settings for over thirteen years. She received her bachelor’s degree in health care administration from UW-Milwaukee. Newbauer has worked as a nurse at Mt. Carmel Health & Rehabilitation Center and has more than 12 years of experience in long-term care. Newbauer graduated from the associate nursing program at the Milwaukee Area Technical College.
Engberg Anderson Design Partnership, Milwaukee, announced the following new principals: Cynthia Gall of the interior design group; Thomas Hofman, a creative designer; Paul Lourich, cultural and urban design; and William Robison, a versatile designer and team leader for library, municipal, corporate and retail projects.
The Equitable Bank, Wauwatosa, announced that Jack DeWalt and Scott Hart have joined The Equitable Bank as mortgage loan representatives.
ORBIS, Oconomowoc, has named Michael Fritz as senior designer in its product development department. Fritz holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in industrial design from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. Prior to joining ORBIS, he was an industrial designer at Regal Ware and also worked as a senior industrial designer at Thetford Corp., Ann Arbor, Mich.
Lisa M. Frymark has joined Nelson Schmidt, Milwaukee, as a public relations account executive. Prior to joining Nelson Schmidt, Frymark served as an assistant account executive at a large Milwaukee-area agency, providing public relations support for consumer clients.
Kailyn Smith has joined Voss Jorgensen Schueler, Waukesha, as marketing coordinator. Smith graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
Chuck Ward has been named president of Pier Wisconsin and will oversee the construction of Pier Wisconsin’s new lakefront Freshwater Education Center in Milwaukee. Prior to joining Pier Wisconsin, Ward served as director of operations for Summerfest and director of stadium operations for the Milwaukee Brewers.
