Wauwatosa-based Wipfli LLP has added Eric Weitzer to the firm’s construction cost segregation practice where he will devote his time to managing cost segregation studies for clients. He has more than 10 years of experience in appraisals and valuations and was formerly a manager a manager in the cost segregation practice of a regional accounting firm.

Zizzo Group Marketing + PR + New Media, Milwaukee, has added Brooke Infusino to its creative team as editor. Infusino will manage the editing process for many of Zizzo Group’s health care clients. Prior to joining Zizzo Group, she served as the special projects editor at Schofield Media LLC in Chicago.

Milwaukee-based Comet Branding + PR has added four new employees to its staff. Andrew Wiech joined Comet Branding as a social media and public relations coordinator; Laura Gainor was hired as a social media and public relations strategist; Mike Wisniewski was hired as a social media and public relations strategist and Emily Lenard was hired as a social media and public relations coordinator.

Ad-Tech Medical Instrument Corp., Racine, has promoted Lisa Theama to executive vice president. In addition to her new role she will also retain her responsibilities as director of sales and marketing.

Education

Carroll University, Waukesha, announced that Richard Penlesky, chair of the department of business, accounting and economics and adviser of the Carroll student chapter of APICS, was named the 2010 APICS Milwaukee Chapter Instructor of the Year. APICS is the Association for Operations Management. Penlesky joined the Carroll faculty in 2002, and specializes in operations and supply chain management and business statistics.

Patricia Schroeder, has been appointed dean of Alverno College’s School of Nursing. She has 35 years of nursing and executive experience. Most recently, she served as the executive vice president/chief nursing officer at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. In that role she was responsible for leading clinical services for the 78-bed hospital with 600 employees.

Joseph Hill has been named chief diversity officer for Froedtert & Community Health, Wauwatosa. Hill was formerly the managing director of diversity and inclusion for the American Cancer Society in Atlanta. He will be responsible for overseeing diversity initiatives, expanding workforce diversity and improving the organization’s responsiveness to multicultural communities.

Dr. Evgueni Fayn, has been appointed assistant professor of medicine/cardiovascular medicine at The Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa. He is also a member of the medical staffs of Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa, and the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, West Allis.

Insurance

The Starr Group, Greenfield, has added Paul Berceau as a personal insurance counselor in its personal lines sales department. Berceau will work out of the Greenfield location, and is experienced with home and auto insurance needs.

Sheboygan-based Acuity recently made the following promotions on its staff: Lynn Coady was promoted to vice president of human resources, Tonia Gibeault and John Krechel were promoted to human resources specialists and Kelly Thill was promoted to director of internal audit.

Godfrey & Kahn, S.C., Milwaukee, has announced that David Peterson, shareholder, has been elected to the board of directors of the Milwaukee Bar Association. He has been a member of the Milwaukee Bar Association for nearly 20 years.

Management Services

Milwaukee-based Association Acumen, LLC has added Amy Sahl as association coordinator to its firm.

Waterstone HR, Mequon, has appointed Markie Waymire to human resources and marketing coordinator. Markie served as a marketing intern with Waterstone HR from March 2009 until May 2010.

Media

Michael Hawkins-Burgos joined Logan Productions Inc., Milwaukee, as its lead video editor. Hawkins-Burgos has experience in graphic design, scripting, editing, filming, producing and directing.

Nonprofit

Dr. Peter Lake, medical director of Rogers Memorial Hospital, Oconomowoc, will be the honorary chair of the Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation’s 15th annual golf outing. Lake is also the medical director of child and adolescent services in Oconomowoc and The Child and Adolescent Center, a specialized treatment facility for children with severe mental illness, and an honorary board member of the Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Milwaukee-based Wired Wisconsin has added Jason Rae, associate director and Megan Sullivan, director of online strategies, to its staff.

Milwaukee-based Zilber Family Foundation has appointed Erin Frederick to the position of program officer. Her responsibilities will include developing grant recommendations, monitoring the progress of grants awarded by the foundation and assisting the implementation of the Zilber Neighborhood Initiative. She most recently served as director of the Healthier Wisconsin Partnership Program at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa.

Real Estate

Real estate agent Laura Bolton has recently joined the Mequon office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.

Wangard Companies LLC, Wauwatosa, recently added Daniel Crowe, vice president and senior property manager; Jimmy Rosen, vice president of retail project management; Jeff Danielson, senior building engineer; and Eric Yao, assistant vice president and financial analyst, to its staff.

Technology

Milwaukee-based Prolitec Inc., a developer of air treatment and air care technologies, has appointed Dr. Craig Kelly as vice president and director of technology development. Kelly was formerly a Johns Hopkins University scientist, and will also serve as chief of the company’s Aerobiology and Infection Control unit.
