Krista McMasters, the chief executive officer of Wauwatosa-based Clifton Gunderson LLP, has been named as a panel member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF), and the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) new “blue-ribbon panel” established to address how U.S. accounting standards can best meet the needs of users of private company financial statements.
Clifton Gunderson has also added Christopher Moss, CFA, to its wealth management practice as lead advisor and vice president of investments.


Advertising & Public Relations

Milwaukee-based Zizzo Group Advertising and PR has added Katina Jordan to its creative team as senior art director.
West Bend-based Nalani Services Inc., a full-service marketing and business development firm, announced the addition of Kelly Krause as the company’s marketing assistant. Krause will support the graphics department and media buying efforts as well as assist in client relations and accounting.


Banking & Finance

First Business Bank, Milwaukee, announced that JoAnne Brandes has joined its board of directors. Brandes is a founder and senior fellow of the Carroll University Center for Leadership Excellence. She is an attorney; an outside board member of several corporations; and speaker and consultant specializing in leadership development, corporate structure and governance, cultural transformation, and change management.
David Scheidt has joined Dana Investment Advisors, Brookfield, as a senior vice president responsible for national institutional sales and consultant relations. He has more than 15 years of industry experience managing institutional investment distribution platforms and performed consulting with clients in the nuclear decommissioning, defined benefit, defined contribution, and corporate cash fields.
Legacy Bank of Milwaukee has hired Steven Wyman as vice president, commercial lender and Terrance Guy as a credit analyst.


Building & Construction

Milwaukee Plumbing and Pipin, Inc., announced that Tom Williams has joined the company as a plumbing, medgas and health care specialist. He has extensive experience working in the health care system in the greater Milwaukee area.



The Milwaukee office of GRAEF has added Laura Giese, to its staff as a restoration ecologist. She has an extensive background in ecological restoration, with special emphasis in forest and wetland areas. Burt Naumann, principal and vice president in the firm’s Milwaukee office, was also re-elected to serve on the company’s board of directors. He has been with GRAEF for 32 years.



The Medical College of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa has named Dr. Stephen Hargarten associate dean of its new Global Health Program as part of the College’s new Institute for Community, Population & Public Health. Hargarten will continue as professor and chairman of emergency medicine and director of the College’s Injury Research Center.


Health Care

Madison Medical Affiliates has added Dr. Beth Schenck, dermatology physician, to its staff. Schenck will practice at Madison Medical Affiliates’ Menomonee Falls location.

Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls recently added four doctors to its medical staff. They include: Dr. Matthew Bong, orthopedics; Dr.Timothy Fowler, orthopedics; Dr. Stacey Gardiner, cardiology/non-invasive; and Dr. Steven Kroft, anatomic/clinical pathology.

Rogers Memorial Hospital in Oconomowoc recently added four new members to its staff. They include: Dr. Jerry Halverson, medical director for adult services; Nezih Hasanoglu, a board-certified addictionologist and family physician; David Jacobi, behavior specialist and clinical supervisor; and Dr. Aruna Tummala, psychiatrist.

Pewaukee-based Integrated Risk Solutions has added Peggy Fleischmann to its firm as the new middle market account manager. She has more than 20 years of agency experience in the transportation and commercial insurance field.


Legal Services

Foley & Lardner LLP has announced that five of the firm’s senior counsel have been elected to partnership in the Milwaukee office. The new partners in the Milwaukee office are: Scott Anderson, Jeffrey Gundersen, Robert Heinrich, Jessica Lochmann, and Bartholomew Reuter.
The law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that George Marek, partner in the firm’s Milwaukee office, has been elected as club secretary to the Harvard Club of Wisconsin and to the board of directors at the Fair Wisconsin Education Fund.
Godfrey & Kahn S.C., Milwaukee, has announced that shareholder Timothy Nixon has been awarded the distinguished award from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Alumni Association. Nixon is being honored for his successful career and contributions to the university, legal profession and community.
Milwaukee-based Davis & Kuelthau announced that Rodney Carter joined the firm as a shareholder. He will focus on general corporate, real estate, labor and employment, and commercial litigation.



Mark Keefe, a 21-year radio veteran with strong experience in both commercial and non-commercial radio, has been named 88Nine RadioMilwaukee’s program director. Keefe has served as operations director and program director at several stations since 1996 and in numerous on-air positions throughout his career.



Peg DuBord has been named president of Transitional Living Services (TLS), an affiliate of the Milwaukee Center for Independence. DuBord was selected after a national search, and was most recently the interim executive director of Mental Health Resources Inc. in Minneapolis.
United Way in Waukesha County added Lori Hayes as manager of volunteer engagement. Hayes comes to United Way from Outward Focus where she helped companies assess, re-align, and tap the potential of their employees’ talent base.
MRA–The Management Association, Brookfield, has announced that Francis Wiesner has joined the organization as senior business advisor. Wiesner has nearly 30 years of experience in leadership, strategic planning, coaching and change management.


Sports & Recreation

Jim Myers has been promoted to director of sales for New Berlin-based SnapSports of Wisconsin, athletic modular flooring company.


Staffing & Recruiting

Pinstripe Inc., Brookfield, has named Jill Schwieters president of the company’s health care practice. In this role, Schwieters is responsible for continuing to expand the organization’s health care footprint, increasing the quality of client relationships by delivering critical solutions, and elevating Pinstripe’s value and relevance to these customers. She will remain executive vice president of Pinstripe Inc. and a member of the Executive Operating Team. She will also continue to lead select company-wide initiatives.



Waukesha-based New Life Ventures LLC/ has hired Russell Roering as a social media manager to handle Marketing and IT Operations for the AirCut home haircutter, New Life’s latest invention. Roering is a 12-year veteran of information technology and 3-year student and teacher of social media.
