Schenck SC added Michael Schroeder as an M&A analyst in Milwaukee. Schroeder has more than seven years of experience in the financial industry. At Schenck SC, he will help with financial analysis, due diligence and marketing for clients looking at M&A opportunities.

Komisar Brady & Co. LLP, of Milwaukee, added Sarah Barth as an accountant. Barth recently graduated from the University of Iowa City. She majored in accounting and finance. Prior to joining Komisar Brady, she served as a tax intern at Kuhl, Phillips, & Jans Inc. in Iowa.

Advertising & Public Relations

Hartland-based Charleston|Orwig added marketing communications professionals Monica MacKay and Christy Bowden to its client services team to take charge of accounts in the agency’s Reputation Management and Integrated Marketing practice groups. MacKay previously worked for Edelman. Bowden has more than a decade of marketing experience and most recently worked for Red Brown Kle’ Marketing.

Image Makers Advertising, located in Waukesha, hired Tiffany Carlson for the new position of account coordinator.

The Ritterbusch Group, located in Brookfield, added Jacob Werre as an assistant account executive. Werre graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran College with a focus on communicative arts-business and is well versed in online advertising, website development and design. He previously interned at the agency.

Lammi Sports Management, of Milwaukee, named Laura Pappas controller. Pappas is a certified public accountant and has close to 20 years of experience in corporate financial strategy and operations. She most recently worked as the controller at Mahler Enterprises.

Banking & Finance

FirstMerit Corp. named Kyle Haug vice president and relationship manager for business banking in southeastern Wisconsin. Haug previously served as vice president and senior business relationship manager at Wells Fargo Bank.

First Business Bank – Milwaukee added Dan Vrakas as a senior advisor. Vrakas’ career, which spans more than 25 years, includes having served as Waukesha County executive for 10 years and, before that role, as a state representative. At First Business Bank – Milwaukee, he will advise the bank on its services and will also help the bank better position itself in the nonprofit, municipal, education and business spaces.

GSF Mortgage added Koby Luedtke as a mortgage loan originator in Brookfield. Luedtke has 11 years of experience in the mortgage industry. He has also served the United States Army.

Associated Bank promoted Scott Hoene to vice president, retirement plan services relationship manager, in Milwaukee. Hoene has 25 years of experience in the financial industry and previously was assistant vice president with Associated’s Private Client & Institutional Trust Services. In his elevated role, he will design and oversee qualified retirement plans for corporate and nonprofit clients. He will also help clients ensure their plans follow established pension laws and will lead employee education meetings.

Inlanta Mortgage Inc., headquartered in Brookfield, promoted Gary Grocholski to third-party origination manager. Grocholski has spent 17 years in the mortgage industry and previously was Inlanta’s branch liaison and account executive. In his new role, he will oversee the company’s growing third-party origination business and head new partnership agreements.

Building & Construction

Triad Construction Inc., headquartered in West Allis, hired Stephen Keller as a project engineer. He previously served as an assistant superintendent and a project manager for projects in Florida.

Education 

Concordia University Wisconsin, located in Mequon, named Steven Taylor vice president of student life. Taylor has served as CUW’s director of financial aid for the past 10 years. He previously was director of residence life and, before that role, was a hall director. In his new role, he will divide his focus among athletics, counseling, the health center, the dean of students office, residence life and financial aid, among other departments. He succeeds Sarah Holtan, Ph.D., who is transitioning back into a full-time faculty position at the school.

Engineering

Milwaukee-based GRAEF recently announced a number of new promotions. The firm promoted Jennifer Kraft to director of strategic marketing, Pat Kressin to chief business development executive, Joe Pepitone to practice area leader of the Landscape Architectural Group, and Stephanie Hacker to practice area leader of the Planning & Urban Design Group.

Health Care

Sunnyslope Dental Care, located in New Berlin, welcomed Dr. Tarah Gerner back to its medical team. Gerner earned her dental degree at Marquette University and is well versed in comprehensive dental care and procedures. She previously worked for Sunnyslope Dental Care as a dental assistant from 2007 to 2009.

Madison Medical Affiliates, of Milwaukee, added Dr. Amanda Cooper to its dermatology team. Cooper earned her doctorate in medicine in 2009 from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She did a transitional year residence at Aurora St. Luke’s in Milwaukee in 2010 and completed her dermatology residence at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2013. Cooper was chief resident from 2012-’13. She is board certified in dermatology and caters to patients of all ages.

Interior Design

Creative Business Interiors, headquartered in Milwaukee, added Leona Knobloch-Nelson as an account manager. The company also recently named Tom Krechel construction services manager and appointed Rachel Eggert a furniture project manager.

Management Services

Pewaukee-based Enterforce, Inc. promoted Paula Hull to program manager for the Badger Meter client account. Enterforce also recently hired Sharon Ihm as data analyst, Tanya Ciurro as marketing coordinator, and Davina Britt as senior program manager for the Harley-Davidson client account.

Manufacturing

Milwaukee-based Brady Corp. named Russell Shaller senior vice president and president of Identification Solutions. Shaller previously served as president of the Microwave Solutions business at Teledyne Technologies Inc. He spent about seven years at Teledyne. At Brady, he will head the company’s largest global platform, which includes safety and facility identification, wire identification and product identification businesses.

Nonprofit

Wisconsin Philanthropy Network, formerly Donors Forum of Wisconsin, recently elected Erin Frederick to its board of directors. Frederick is senior program officer for the Zilber Family Foundation in Milwaukee. She has been with the foundation since 2010 and previously directed a public health program at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her nonprofit career has also included positions with Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and La Causa. She is in the process of completing a master’s degree in nonprofit management and leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Penfield Children’s Center, of Milwaukee, recently added Cristina Moreno, bilingual outreach specialist, and Stephanie Shabangu, marketing specialist. Moreno has spent five years working and volunteering in Spanish-speaking communities. At Penfield Children’s Center, she will lead the organization’s education workshops and community outreach initiatives through its Kohl’s building Blocks Program and will largely concentrate on serving Hispanic communities. Shabangu has nine years of experience in marketing, event coordination and fund development. In her new position, she will handle marketing efforts, including internal and external communications, public relations and social media.

Elmbrook Humane Society, of Brookfield, expanded its board of directors with the election of James Broughton of Vrakas CPAs + Advisors; Joe Donovan of The Donovan Group; and Jennifer Grosshandler of Lamplight Farms Inc.

The Waukesha County Community Foundation elected new board members: Mervyn Byrd of the Waukesha County Business Alliance, Anne Moore of Bruno Independent Living Aids, Dennis Pollard of Froedtert Health and Stephanie Riesch-Knapp of R&R Insurance Services.

Technology

Superior Support Resources Inc., of Brookfield, added Bee Yang as a systems engineer. In this role, Yang will help clients optimize and maintain their information technology systems through preventative maintenance services and services to lower security risks. Yang will also contribute to a project management team. The company also recently hired Nathanial Davis as an application developer. Davis will create software applications for Superior Support Resources’ clients in order to improve their reporting, data integration and data visualization.

Milwaukee-based PKWARE appointed Rick Hofmann vice president of North American Channels and Alliances. In this role, Hofmann will guide the company’s relaunched channel program. Prior to joining PKWARE, Hofmann served as a consultant at Gerson Lehrman Group and, before that, spent a decade working for Symantec.

CCB Technology, of Racine, appointed Chris Varsek director of business development. In this role, Varsek will oversee a team of company sales representatives and will serve CCB Technology’s corporate and health care customers.
