Chortek & Gottschalk, LLP, a Waukesha-based CPA and business advisory firm, has named Erin Singshinsuk as the partner in charge of the firm’s office in Washington, D.C. Singshinsuk has 23 years of experience providing auditing, accounting, and consulting services to a variety of federal, not-for-profit and commercial entities. She is a former owner of her own firm and previously worked for Ernst and Young LLP.


Milwaukee-based Komisar Brady & Co. LLP has hired Angela King as an associate accountant.

Wegner CPAs, Pewaukee, has hired Steve Johannas, staff accountant, to the assurance department. Johannas will be working for Pewaukee but serving clients in all locations.

John Salza has accepted a principal position at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause LLP in Milwaukee. He will work for the accounting methods tax service line.

Advertising & Public Relations

Jacobson Rost, an independent marketing communications agency in Milwaukee, has promoted Kurt Schultz and Alexandra Kipperman to senior account executives and hired Benjamin Pipkin as digital assets manager.

Architecture

Architecture firm PDC Midwest Inc., Hartland, has added James Sisson as project architect. Sisson brings more than 16 years of residential, institutional, and commercial building project experience to the firm. He is also a part-time instructor at Waukesha County Technical College teaching 3D Modeling courses.

Banking & Finance

Milwaukee-based Robert W. Baird & Co. has hired Brian Skorney as a senior analyst in equity research. Skorney will concentrate on biotechnology, a sector he has studied for six years.

Waterstone Mortgage Corp., Milwaukee, hired 23 employees in December. The new employees include Clint Andrew, serving as a loan partner in the Germantown office; Dennis Brady, serving as a loan originator in the Okauchee office; Bob Kagel, serving as a chief appraiser in the Pewaukee office; and Mary Schlicht, serving as a junior underwriter in the Pewaukee office.

Wells Fargo Private Bank, Milwaukee, has appointed Thomas “T.J.” Marini Jr. senior private banker. In his new role, Marini will maintain banking relationship management to clients by providing banking, credit and access to brokerage and investment management services. He brings 15 years of experience in the financial services industry to the position.

Cleary Gull Investment Banking Group, located in Milwaukee, has promoted Ryan Olsta to managing director and Patrick Bremmer to vice president. The firm has also hired Matthew Pearson and Christopher Larsen to the investment banking team.

GSF Mortgage, Brookfield, has hired Joshua Young as a loan officer. Prior to GSF, Young served as director of youth and family ministries at a local church.

Building & Construction

Total Team Construction LLC (TTC) of Waukesha has promoted Nick Teichert to the TTC ownership team. Teichert’s experience includes more than 10 years of commercial construction project management.

Rob Bergmann has joined Greenfire Management Services as a project manager. He will be working with the tribal and private sector projects in the Milwaukee area and Forest County.

Distribution

Bridge Logistics Services, Inc., a Milwaukee warehouse and logistics company, has appointed Greg Dugan to chief operations officer. Dugan is responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations, marketing strategies, and business developmental activities. He has over 30 years of experience in sales, international business, and marketing.

Engineering

M Squared Engineering, Cedarburg, has hired Susan Coyle as a project engineer. Coyle has more than 15 years of experience in GIS-based floodplain mapping, watershed studies, and storm and sanitary sewer designs.

Health Care

Rogers Memorial Hospital, Oconomowoc, has added Dr. Andrew Butchart to the psychiatric team’s inpatient unit to work with children and adolescents. Butchart’s previous psychiatric position was at Mercy Options Behavioral Health Clinic providing outpatient treatment to children, adolescents, and adults.

Froedert Health Medical Group Menomonee Falls Clinic. has added Dr. Daniel Kopesky to the team. Kopesky provides general women’s health care, treats uncomplicated to high-risk pregnancies, provides perimenopausal/menopausal symptom treatment and specializes in minimally invasive surgeries. He is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Kimberly Strong has been appointed assistant professor of bioethics and medical humanities in the Center for Bioethics and Medical Humanities at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) Institute for Health and Society. Her current research entails genomic sequencing (the study of one’s full DNA) and she’s the primary faculty for MCW’s Program of Genomics and Ethics. Strong was most recently a health services manager at the Cancer Institute of New South Wales, in Sydney, Australia and served as an academic researcher at the Center for Values, Ethics and the Law in Medicine at the University of Sydney.

Dr. Candace Hennessy has been named the new president and chief executive officer of Curative Care Network. Hennessy has more than 25 years of experience in the health care field and was most recently executive vice president for Aurora Health Care and president and chief clinical officer for Aurora Visiting Nurse Association of Wisconsin.

Hospitality & Entertainment

Quality Catering, based in southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois, has hired Chad Fortinberry as an account manager. Fortinberry previously worked for Follet Library Resources.

Insurance

Integreted Risk Solutions Inc., located in Pewaukee, has hired Carrie Lloyd as a benefits consultant. Lloyd brings 21 years of employee benefit experience to the firm.

Interior Design

Creative Business Interiors, Milwaukee, has promoted Verna Shavlik to manager of interior design services. The company also hired Natalie Walsh as construction services coordinator, Michelle Haglund as interior designer and Andrea Kane as administrative assistant. Creative Business Interiors specializes in furnishing, designing, and building for corporate, educational, and institutional environments.

Brook Louis Meir has joined Milwaukee’s Kahler Slater office as a project leader in higher education practice. Meier will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing project teams, and leading design efforts on various projects across the country. He has recently returned to Milwaukee after working as a founder and director at Research Design Office, an architecture firm in Kolkata, India, for five years.

Legal Services

Ryan Kromholz & Manion, S.C., Brookfield, has hired Patrick Fleis as a partner. Fleis’ expertise is in the medical and chemical arts, primarily in regard to patent procurement and client portfolio management.

Quarles and Brady LLP has announced Noelle Bobbe as Real Estate Practice Group associate in the Milwaukee office. Bobbe has served as a former law clerk for Milwaukee County Corporation Counsel, for The Honorable Ann Walsh Bradley at the Supreme Court of Wisconsin and at Brookdale Senior Living.

Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. has elected Thomas Shorter, shareholder and chair of the firm’s Health Care Practice Group, to the board of directors for the Wisconsin Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Attorney Douglas Dehler has been elected a shareholder of O’Neil, Cannon, Hollman, DeJong & Laing S.C., located in Milwaukee. Dehler has focused on business litigation, class action litigation, whistleblower lawsuits, ERISA fiduciary litigation, and the representation of clients in a range of insurance matters.

Manufacturing

Quick Cable Corporation, headquartered in Franksville, has named Dave Henrichs vice president of sales and marketing. Henrichs was previously a general manager at Pro-face Americans, a division of Schneider Electric, and has held other business development and sales management positions at Schneider Electric as well.

Gehl Foods, Inc. has hired Jeff Chahley as the first chief manufacturing officer. Chahley is responsible for manufacturing operations for all four Gehl Foods, Inc. locations in West Bend and Germantown. The company has also hired Jarrod Luedtke as packaging operations manager to oversee facility management at West Bend and Freistadt locations.

Philanthropy

The Greater Milwaukee Foundation has hired Timothy Larson as vice president of development and donor services. Larson will lead a team for the foundation’s services to its donor base and will help increase resources to support the needs of Milwaukee’s nonprofit organizations. Larson was previously senior director of gift planning for Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.

Real Estate

Jody Nelson has joined Wangard Partners Inc., as a vice president of property management. She is responsible for management staff, building engineers and property accounting.

Retail

Dev Mukherjee has been appointed chief executive officer of BuySeasons, a leading online specialty retailer in personalized party supplies and costumes in New Berlin. Mukherjee was most recently senior vice president and president of Sears Holdings’ Home Appliances business for stores and online. He will also serve as chief executive officer of BuySeasons’ holding company, Celebrate Interactive.

Regal Ware, Inc., a Kewaskum-based stainless steel cookware brand, has appointed Richard “Rick” Heath to executive vice president. Heath’s role involves overseeing operations, human resources, global strategic business development, sales and marketing activities for all Regal Ware brands including Saladmaster®, Kitchen Fair®, and Lifetime®. He has worked for more than 20 years in the direct sales industry with an emphasis in global solutions and brand growth.

Utility Services

American Transmission Co., based in Pewaukee, has hired Brian Drumm as associate general counsel. Drumm is responsible for corporate and policy issues for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. He has more than 10 years of experience working for law firms in the Milwaukee and Washington D.C. area and previously worked for DTE Energy Co., one of the largest utility companies in the country.
