Associated Bank recently promoted Cheri Musbach to vice president, compliance officer. The bank has also added Carl Henzel as vice president, senior project manager, and Maria Valentin as assistant vice president, CRA residential loan officer. All three staff members are located in Milwaukee.

Ebenezer Child Care Center, based in Milwaukee, has hired Tracy Olson as executive administrative assistant. Olson will be the initial contact person at Ebenezer’s main office and will prepare, proof and edit documents. She will also update databases, handle office management tasks, and help with marketing and special events.
Consulting
Brookfield-based Patina Solutions has added Bill Filip to its board of directors. Filip is a founder and managing director of Delancey Street Capital Partners and guides the company’s initiatives in business, technology and health care services, and merchant banking. As a senior investment banking professional and private equity investor, he has extensive experience in venture capital, growth equity/buyout investments, public equity, and mergers and acquisitions advisory.
Education
Carroll University, of Waukesha, has expanded the leadership team of its Entrepreneurial Journey program with Manoli Kulutbanis, who will serve as lead mentor for the Lean Startup course. Kulutbanis is the chief executive officer of UpScalability.com and founding partner of UpScalability LLC. As a lead mentor for the Entrepreneurial Journey program, he will work with students to develop business concepts, generate business model designs and apply those designs to projects.

Clark Dietz Inc.’s Milwaukee office has added Steve Schultz as a senior water professional for the Civil/Environmental group. Schultz has devoted most of his career to working in water supply and distribution design and construction. In his new role, he will focus on completing water and wastewater projects for municipal clients in Wisconsin.

Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa has announced three changes in its leadership team. The health care network recently promoted Margaret Lampark to director of internal occupational health services, appointed Rachelle Buol to health information management coding director, and named Ceil Duclon executive director for laboratory services.

Marcus Hotels & Resorts, a division of Milwaukee-based The Marcus Corp., has promoted Tom Mason to vice president. Mason has served as general manager of the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva since January. In his elevated role, he will remain general manager while also being responsible for operations of the company’s Timber Ridge Lodge and Waterpark hotel in Lake Geneva and the Four Points by Sheraton Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile in Chicago. Additionally, Marcus Hotels & Resorts has promoted Steve Martin to vice president, human resources. Martin has served in several human resources positions for the company since he joined it in 2000. In his promoted role, he will apply his expertise to the company’s 18 properties and will handle operational human resources issues and strategic initiatives.

The Starr Group, based in Greenfield, has added Taylor Nyarangi as an employee benefits consultant. Nyarangi has more than five years of experience in employee benefits. She is also knowledgeable about human resources and employee wellness.

Milwaukee-based Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. has appointed Jerry Bishop director of technology. Bishop has more than 25 years of leadership experience in information technology. The law firm also recently appointed Andrew Narrai to director of marketing. Narrai has more than 25 years of experience in strategic marketing communications. In his new role, he will guide marketing communications, public relations, and event and digital marketing initiatives.

Waukesha-based Wildeck Inc. recently promoted and hired several personnel, including promoting Jim Hathaway to senior guarding products specialist and adding Todd Ehlers as guarding products sales specialist/inside regional sales manager.
St. Francis-based Wixon Inc. has added Kim Cornelius as food technologist for its Industrial Ingredients Lab. Cornelius has more than 15 years of experience in seasoning and spice manufacturing. She previously served as R&D manager at Foran Spice Company. At Wixon, Cornelius will work in the company’s Tech Center and will focus on new product development, product reformulation and product optimization.

DCI-Artform, headquartered in Milwaukee, has promoted Chad Brodsko to director of digital solutions. Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin has added Dr. Anthony Ross to its board of directors. Ross is the Rockwell Automation endowed chair in supply chain management and professor in the Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Liliane McFarlane has joined the Greater Milwaukee Foundation’s Community Investment Department as grants manager. McFarlane previously was a treasury manager at Charter Manufacturing in Mequon. She also runs her own business, Wafrique Crafts LLC, which sells goods made in Africa.
Professional Organizations
The National Association for Campus Activities has elected Demetria Bell Anderson to its board of directors. Anderson serves as leadership programs manager in the Center for Community-Based Learning, Leadership and Research at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Anderson has been an active member of NACA for several years and previously was a board member from 2012-13.
Technology
Superior Support Resources Inc., based in Brookfield, has named Linda Braun director of marketing. Braun has 20 years of experience in sales and marketing. She will run all marketing and communications initiatives as well as grow the firm’s client communications program.
Brookfield-based Cornerstone Consulting Inc. has added Tad Balsiger as a business development manager. Balsiger has more than eight years of experience in sales and management and is well versed in lead generation and sales process methodology. He most recently served as a team lead for account executives at Zywave Inc. in Wauwatosa. At Cornerstone Consulting, Balsiger will develop and implement strategic sales initiatives.
