Child Care Services

Ebenezer Child Care Centers recently named Megan Fucile assistant center coordinator for its Oak Creek Center, located at 220 W. Forest Hill Ave., Oak Creek. Prior to joining Ebenezer, Fucile worked as an assistant director for Fort Gordon’s Child and Youth Services as well as a pre-K site director in Fort Gordon, Georgia.


The Milwaukee office of GRAEF recently announced that Paul Lohmiller recently joined the firm as the business development area leader for civil, environmental, and transportation.


Design North, Racine, recently hired Zeynep Tangun-Kaplan as a senior designer. 

Government Organizations

Steve Brunner, senior landscape architect with Ruekert/Mielke Inc., Waukesha, was recently appointed to the Green Task Force of the Wisconsin Park & Recreation Association.

Graphic Design

Froedtert & Community Health vice president of facility planning and development, John Balzer recently earned a place on a national list of “Twenty Who Are Making a Difference” in health care facility planning and design.

Dr. Sanjay Sharma, has joined the physicians of Advanced Pain Management (APM), in its Milwaukee locations.

Dr. Nilay Kumar, was recently appointed assistant professor of medicine in the division of general internal medicine and section of hospital medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and the medical staff of Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa.  

MRPC, Butler, recently promoted Greg Riemer to chief operating officer and Mark Brandstaetter to vice president of sales and marketing.

Louise Walsh, project manager for Metropolitan Urology Group, S.C., and David Lex, financial consultant with UVEST Financial Services at PyraMax Bank, have been elected to The Medical College of Wisconsin Digestive Disease Center Advisory Board.

Frances Finley has been chosen to lead the new Aurora Medical Center in the Town of Summit. Finley joined Aurora Health Care in February 2003 as the first leader of Aurora’s new hospital in Oshkosh. 

Dr. Marjorie Arca, was recently named clinical director of pediatric surgical critical care at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa. Arca also is an associate professor of surgery and co-director of Surgical Critical Care fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa. 

Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin today announced that Gina Ciabattari has been appointed to serve as director of nutritional services. Ciabattari has worked in the health care food service industry for more than 25 years.

Aurora Health Care recently announced that Steve Francaviglia has been named a vice president of business development for the not-for-profit integrated health system. 

Mary Bohn, RN, OCN, has been named president of the Southeastern Wisconsin Oncology Nursing Society (SWONS). Bohn has worked in Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Clinical Cancer Center since 2002.

Hospitality & Entertainment

The Bricton Group Inc., Park Ridge Ill., recently announced that Terry Houdek has been appointed director of sales and marketing of the Hampton Inn and Suites in downtown Milwaukee. 

Chef Mark Weber has been newly appointed by the Marcus Corp. as the executive chef of The Pfister Hotel, Milwaukee. Former executive chef of The Pfister, Brian Frakes, has been appointed executive chef of the Hilton Milwaukee City Center, home of the Milwaukee ChopHouse and Miller Time Pub.


Diversified Insurance Services, Waukesha, recently announced the appointment of Matt Wallace as a risk consultant in the firm’s property and casualty division.
