Securant Bank & Trust, Menomonee Falls, recently welcomed three new employees to its firm. Stephen Corbisier Vitrano was added as senior vice president, Emilywas added as a customer service representative and Mary Jo McGraw was added as a private banking officer.

AMCORE Bank, Rockford, Ill., recently announced that Barbara Chucka has joined the company as an assistant vice president and treasury management specialist in the Wauwatosa branch. She brings 20 years of banking experience to the company.

Marshall & Ilsley Corp., Milwaukee, recently promoted: Kara Kaiser and Greg Charlesworth to senior vice president, and Dawn Davis and William Feagles to vice president. Susan Nuernberg was also promoted to regional processing unit manager at M&I Home Lending Solutions, West Allis. 

Building & Construction

CG Schmidt Inc., Milwaukee, recently promoted Emilio Ramirez to virtual construction coordinator. He joined the company two years ago as an assistant project manager. Cathy Wittig was also added to the staff at CG Schmidt Inc. as an executive assistant. She comes to CG Schmidt with over 15 years of experience

BCI Group (Bukacek Construction), Racine, recently announced the addition of Josh Johnson to the firm as estimator. Johnson brings eight years of experience in the construction industry to the firm.

Riley Construction Company, Inc., Kenosha, recently added Scott Gurholt as marketing director. Gurholt brings more than 10 years of infrastructure engineering and construction industry, and marketing communications experience to the position.

R.A. Smith National Inc., Brookfield, recently added three additional employees to its staff. John Gauthier has joined the company as a civil engineer, and Justin Schueler as a traffic engineer, both in the transportation division. Robert Hubing was added as construction services manager in the construction services division. Hubing has 36 years of experience with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

Education

Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon, recently announced that former State Representative Curt Gielow will serve as the executive dean and assistant professor of pharmacy practice, and Dean Arneson will serve as the academic dean and associate professor of pharmacy administration for the University’s new School of Pharmacy.

Three new members have joined Mount Mary College’s board of trustees. They are: Barbara Bolens, vice president and treasurer for Brady Corp., Milwaukee; Barbara Gothard, a partner with EQ Concepts, LLC, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mary Kunze, account executive at Frederick & Company, Inc., Milwaukee.

Linda Berezowitz recently joined Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Milwaukee, as the Director of Alumni Relations.

Health Care

Hospitalist Dr. Erin Shaughnessy, was recently appointed assistant professor of pediatrics in the divisions of hospital medicine and critical care at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa. She is also joining the medical staffs of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. Dr. Shaughnessy comes to the Medical College from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, where she recently completed a pediatric residency.

Radiation oncologist

Dr. J. Frank Wilson, has been awarded the Thomas L. Smallwood Award for Patient Care Excellence by the Board of Directors of Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa. Dr. Wilson practices at Froedtert Hospital, where he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients. The Thomas L. Smallwood Award was established in 2003 to honor outstanding contributions to the care of patients at Froedtert Hospital. Award criteria focuses on four key areas: clinical skills, scientific inquiry, clinical program development and superior patient outcomes. The award is named for Thomas L. Smallwood, former chairman of the Froedtert Hospital Board of Directors and a passionate advocate for Froedtert Hospital and its patients.

Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, recently named two new program directors. Dr. Sean Lew has been appointed program director of neurosurgery epilepsy and Dr. Kevin Walter has been appointed program director of pediatric and adolescent sports medicine.

HealthReach Rehabilitation Services, Inc., Brookfield, recently announced that J.T. Mathwig joined its staff as a physical therapist and outpatient adult therapy manager at its Hales Corners clinic. He brings 16 years of experience working in a variety of therapy arenas including orthopedics, geriatrics and work injury.

Insurance

Integrated Risk Solutions, Pewaukee, recently named Scott Shaver as the new assistant vice president, and risk services practice leader. Shaver brings 20 years of experience to the firm. 

Interior Design

Alison Daughters, a recent graduate of the MATC Interior Design program, has joined Creative Business Interiors, Milwaukee, as an interior design assistant.

Legal Services

von Briesen & Roper, S.C., Milwaukee, recently announced the promotions of attorneys Michelle Frazier and Susan Ruppelt to shareholder. Frazier is a member of the health care practice group. Ruppelt focuses her practice in the areas of trust and estate planning, estate and trust administration, charitable giving, retirement planning, and estate, gift and generation skipping tax.

Centro Legal, Milwaukee, recently announced the addition of four new officers to its board of directors. The newly-elected officers are Harvey Kurtz, president and chairman; Daniel Vaccaro, vice president; Jessica Poliner, secretary; and Domingo Cruz, treasurer.

Quarles & Brady LLP, Milwaukee, recently announced that C. Ann Martin has joined the firm as an associate on the labor and employment team. Prior to joining the firm, Martin worked as an associate for Lindner & Marsack, S.C., Milwaukee.

Professional Organizations

The Reggie White Sleep Disorders Research and Education Foundation, West Allis, recently named Constance Roethel to its board of directors. Roethel is the founder and president of CORE Health Group and has owned and operated health care businesses since 1986. She will serve as chairperson of the Foundation’s Education Committee. LaToya Tharpe, a health unit coordinator at the Milwaukee Health Services, Inc., Isaac Coggs Heritage Health Center, has also been named the recipient of the first Reggie White Sleep Disorders Educational Scholarship. She is now participating in fully paid advanced sleep technology training at the Sleep Wellness Institute in West Allis.

The Waukesha Chapter of the International Association recently announced the members of its newest chapter board. They are: president, Laurie Neubauer, CPS, Brookfield Public Library; vice president Ruth Moroz, CPS, Aurora Health Care; treasurer, Bev DeCoursin, WE Energies; secretary Bluzette Martin, CPS/CAP, Mertz Associates, Inc.

Two Milwaukee-area businessmen have been re-elected to Muscular Dystrophy Association national leadership positions. Gordon Boucher, president of Boucher Automotive Group, Greenfield, and James McCaslin, chief operating officer at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Milwaukee, were elected to new one-year terms as MDA national vice presidents.

The Waukesha County Historical Society and Museum recently announced the selection of Jim Hahn as its new director of development and marketing. Hahn brings over 12 years of experience in non-profit marketing and fundraising to the position, including his most recent tenure as the development director for the Guest House of Milwaukee.

Real Estate

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Wisconsin Region, recently added several new sales associates: Kevin Bonneau and Becky Godfrey, were added to the downtown Milwaukee office; James Weisner, Glendale office; Jean Giles, metro west surburban office in Brookfield; Michelle Mittelstadt and Roselle Sturdevant, Shorewood office; and John Abraham was added to the West Bend office.

Technology

GS Design, Inc., Milwaukee, recently added four new employees to its staff, Paul Bartlett, art director; Nick Katarow, front end developer; Andre Malske, user experience architect; and Justin Derleth, systems administrator. 

Utility Services

Good Electric Inc., Waukesha, recently announced that that Dennis Dickmann has joined the company as an estimator. Dennis has almost 20 years of experience in the industry as an electrician, foreman, project manager, and estimator for commercial, industrial, and health care projects.
