United Health

How does fitness or wellness affect your overall organization?

I believe leadership by example has a positive impact — not just in matters directly related to our business — but also how others within the organization view fitness and an active lifestyle.

What advice do you have for other executives interested in starting either a personal fitness plan or corporate wellness initiative?

As a long term investment in a business fully engaged in providing a service where the key corporate asset is the people involved, fitness and a healthy lifestyle provides a huge ROI (return on investment).
