Class of 2024

During her 20 years as vice president of public affairs and government relations for Time Warner Cable, Beverly Greenberg created several initiatives, including Kids Biz, Roadrunner Club and the Hang Tough video contest, which earned an Emmy award for empowering youth in the fight against drugs and violence.

Greenberg also launched two local television channels: Wisconsin on Demand and TWC Sports Channel.

In 2016, Greenberg created “Project Pitch It,” a local version of the ABC TV show “Shark Tank,” designed to inspire Wisconsin entrepreneurship. Heading into its eighth season on WISN-TV Channel 12, the show has invested $4 million in 170 entrepreneurs.

“‘Project Pitch It’ exemplifies Bev’s commitment to innovation and economic growth in Wisconsin,” said Peter Gorman, website manager for Project Pitch It and owner of Brand Support 365.

In 2019, Greenberg chaired the Holocaust Education & Resource Center’s Task Force on mandating Holocaust education in Wisconsin. In 2021, the Wisconsin legislature unanimously passed the bill and Gov. Evers signed legislation requiring Wisconsin schools to teach about the Holocaust and other genocides.
