New restaurant opening next year at Miller Park

To take over Friday’s Front Row Sports Grill in left field corner

The Milwaukee Brewers are trading Friday’s Front Row Sports Grill for a new bar-restaurant at Miller Park.

The baseball franchise on Tuesday announced plans to renovate the left field restaurant space and open the new concept, dubbed Restaurant To Be Named Later, in mid-January 2020.

Friday’s will operate through early December.

The announcement was made via social media with a short comedic video featuring Brewers announcer Bob Uecker, who is asked by president of business operations Rick Schlesinger to name the concept. Uecker brainstorms and seeks advice from various Brewers officials, including general manager David Stearns who ultimately inspires the moniker.

Restaurant To Be Named Later will serve Wisconsin favorites “with twists on classic food and beverage offerings.” It will be operated by the park’s food and beverage provider Delaware North Sportservice.

“We are always looking to enhance the complete fan experience at Miller Park, and we place the highest priority on developing creative food and beverage concepts to fit all tastes,” Schlesinger said. “We are excited about the work we are doing with Delaware North to make this an inviting venue.”

Like Friday’s, Restaurant To Be Named Later will operate year round and will sell game ticket package options.
