Minnesota Gov. TIM PAWLENTY attended a $150 per couple fundraiser Monday in Hartland for Milwaukee Co. Executive SCOTT WALKER’s gubernatorial campaign. New Jersey Gov. CHRIS CHRISTIE will be in Waukesha County Oct. 4 to do a fundraiser for Walker.

Attorney General J.B. VAN HOLLEN and Dem challenger SCOTT HASSETT will meet Oct. 7 for their first joint appearance of the campaign as part of the “On the Issues with Mike Gousha” series at Marquette Law School. The Milwaukee Press Club will induct Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist RAQUEL RUTLEDGE of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel into its into the order of The Knights of the Golden Quill at its Sept. 30 meeting at the Newsroom Pub in Milwaukee. The group will also induct DAVE BALDWIN, owner the Safe House bar and the Newsroom Pub, which houses the Press Club, into the circle of The Knights of Bohemia.
