Milwaukee County Republicans endorse Walker

The Milwaukee County Republican Party has given its endorsement to Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker in the Wisconsin governor’s race.
Walker has received the endorsement of the Jackson, Eau Claire and Douglas Republican parties and has been endorsed by more than 75 percent of the current county GOP chairs statewide.
He has also been endorsed by more than 80 percent of the current Republican state legislators.
“Scott Walker is the right choice for Wisconsin,” added Milwaukee GOP chairman David Karst. “Scott is the only candidate in this race with the executive-level experience and fiscally conservative mindset necessary to tackle our state’s difficult challenges.  We are proud to join with so many other grassroots supporters across the state in supporting him, and encourage other county parties to join us in endorsing Scott Walker before the state convention.”
“I am proud to have the backing of so many hardworking Wisconsin families who are ready to take back our government,” Walker said. “I thank the Milwaukee County Republican Party for their endorsement and generous support over the years, and will continue to work with grassroots activists across this state to take back our government next November.”
Walker’s Republican primary opponent is former Congressman Mark Neumann.
