MGS bolsters management team

Germantown-based MGS Mfg. Group, today announced the naming of Jeffrey Kolbow as president and Paul Manley as chief operations officer and chief financial officer.

Kolbow has served MGS in various management-related capacities since his start with the company in 1995. Manley, who has been with MGS since 1996, has served the company’s interests as accounting specialist, staff accountant, controller, plant manager, Tooling Group vice president of finance and most recently as chief financial officer.

The changes help position executive management to best serve the strategic growth plans of MGS, according to company founder and chief executive officer Mark Sellers.

“We are carefully aligning our personnel, facilities and manufacturing technologies to respond to our customer’s needs for an integrated source for the development of custom manufacturing solutions,” Sellers said.

MGS is a global provider of optimized manufacturing solutions for high-precision plastic products – supplying development, design and engineering services, injection molds, custom production molding, automation systems and specialty molding equipment. The company, which began operations in 1982, has facilities in Wisconsin, Illinois, Mexico and Ireland and serves the medical, consumer, electronics, automotive and packaging industries.
