Marquette University announced the appointments of Anthony Pennington-Cross as chair of the Department of Finance and Nina Schuerman as associate director of the Center for Real Estate.

Pennington-Cross, a professor of finance, succeeds associate professor of finance Sarah Peck.

Prior to joining Marquette Business, Pennington-Cross was a senior economist in the research division at The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Schuerman succeeds Andrew Hunt.

“I am honored to come back to Marquette University to use my real estate education and work experience to help strengthen the real estate program and overall student experience. I look forward to working with the faculty, alumni, board members, community, and students in this mission,” she said.

“We could not be happier to welcome Nina back to Marquette and the Center for Real Estate family. As an outstanding student and professional, Nina will continue to build upon the foundation which Andy Hunt was instrumental in establishing over the last four years,” said interim Keyes dean of Business Administration and Bell Chair in Real Estate Mark Eppli.
