Lakeland College announces new director of Milwaukee Center

Lakeland College has appointed Jennifer Christensen director of its Milwaukee Center, located at 1135 S. 70th St. in West Allis.

 

Christensen spent the last 14 months as executive director of enrollment at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee. Under her leadership of initiatives within the college’s Adult and Graduate Studies program, new enrollments jumped 70 percent.

Prior to working for Wisconsin Lutheran College, Christensen worked in enrollment at the Arizona-based Institute for Professional Development, an education management firm offering recruitment, retention and revenue-generating services. She spent seven years as an enrollment representative before being promoted to executive director of enrollment and contracts, a position she filled for 10 years. During her tenure at IPD, Christensen contributed to the management and growth of enrollment at Cardinal Stritch University, a client institution of IPD.

Lakeland College is a private, liberal arts college based in Sheboygan County. The college has course offerings at seven locations in Wisconsin along with online programming.
