“Port Washington, with its charm and current revitalization, and its close proximity to Milwaukee, seemed like the perfect city for my business expansion,” said La Tulipe’s principal, Vicki Kunz. “When I learned that this great location, across from the Duluth Trading Company, was home to a previously successful floral business, I knew that this was the ideal location for my business.”

The new store will specialize in fresh flowers and bouquets and gift items, all with a European flavor, according to Kunz.

Floral offerings will feature fresh “make your own” bouquets, prearranged bunches and vase arrangements, available across a range of price points. Gifts will encompass floral accessories, home accessories, lotions and soaps, and paper products.

In addition to flowers and merchandise, the shop will offer seasonal classes and wedding and special event consultation meetings. La Tulipe, which sells flowers from farms across the region and world, is experienced in special event floral design, having worked with clients such as the Milwaukee Art Museum, the Donald Driver Foundation and the Milwaukee Ballet.

The award-winning design company serves customers throughout greater Milwaukee and Ozaukee County.
