*Friday, Sept. 6, Fish Fry & A Flick will bring a free outdoor screening of “Ted” to Discovery World, located at 500 N. Harbor Dr. The event, open to the public, will begin at 5 p.m. with a fish fry provided by The Bartolotta Restaurants, menu options from food trucks, and beverage specials for purchase. (Food and beverage carry-ins are not allowed.) The movie will begin at dusk, between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Children are welcome early in the evening but are discouraged from staying for the film as it is rated R. *Friday, Sept. 6, Newaukee and the Koss Lunar Series will feature its last music event of the summer with a performance by The Exotics and DJ Nick Edmonds. The weekly summer music series takes place each Friday from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on the rooftop patio of the Milwaukee Athletic Club, located at 758 N. Broadway in downtown Milwaukee. *Friday, Sept. 6, a beginning level salsa class will be taught at the Astor Street Dance Studio, located at 1228 N. Astor St. in Milwaukee. The class runs each week from 8:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. through Dec. 20. Cost is $5 drop-in per person, and no dance partner is needed. *Saturday, Sept. 7, the third annual Pain Awareness Run/Walk will be held at Greenfield Park in West Allis to benefit the American Chronic Pain Association and recognize September as Pain Awareness Month. The event offers participants both 5K and 3K options. 5K runners and walkers will take off at 9 a.m. with 3K walkers beginning at 9:05 a.m. The event will also feature a post-run picnic and 10 a.m. and an awards ceremony at 10:15 a.m. The run is chip-timed and will give a $250 cash prize to the male and female 5K runners who achieve the best time.
