  • Saturday, Dec. 3 Carols @ the Lake- 10th Year, a free concert series by the Florentine Opera Company will be held at Alterra @ the Lake starting at 1 p.m.
  • Saturday, Dec. 3 The Shorewood Business Improvement District will host the Stop, Shop and Restore holiday event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free trolley rides will transport you to complimentary relaxation stations along the shopping route, including: free hand, foot and chair massages for people, complimentary salon services – stop in and get a quick holiday style or make-up   finishing touches for that upcoming holiday party, relaxing tea sampling, cooking demonstrations, beer and wine tastings. The event will also feature holiday cookies, hot cocoa, cider, complimentary gift wrapping, holiday carolers and string/brass quartets throughout the district, pet photos with Santa and seasonal nutrition and stress relieving tips from local therapists. The first 50 shoppers who turn in $200 in Dec. 3 receipts from any participating Shorewood business will receive a $50 gift certificate redeemable at any business in the Shorewood business district.   • Sunday, Dec. 4 Sprecher Brewery will host the Fifth Annual Soda With Santa event. Attendees can tour the Brewery, visit with Santa and have their photo taken with Santa to put on customized bottles of Sprecher Root Beer. Santa will greet his fans when the Sprecher Gift Shop opens at 11am. Brewery tours will be given on the hour, 12pm-3pm. Plan to arrive 45 minutes early so you have time for pictures and visiting with Santa. Charge: $5 Adults, $4 Seniors, includes tour, commemorative glass, beer and soda samples, visit and photo with Santa; $3 Minors, includes tour, soda samples, visit and photo with Santa. U.S. Military personnel with valid ID are free.Your personalized Sprecher Root Beer will be ready to take with you when you leave the
    brewery. Charge : $2 per bottle, minimum 12 bottle order. This year there will be two new design options to choose from.   • Sunday, Dec. 4 Milwaukee Ballet will host The Nutcracker Tea at the Wisconsin Club from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and again from 2 to 4:30 p.m. The event will include favorite excerpts from The Nutcracker, a ballet lesson, Be-a-Ballet Dancer makeover, crafts, photos with a ballerina, and a new holiday buffet featuring tea sandwiches and plenty of sweet treats. Previous teas have been sold out. Admission is $75/adult and $25/child.
