Oak Creek-based Joseph Campione Inc., which makes garlic bread, Texas toast and other varieties of bread for retail sales, is planning a major expansion of its plant at 2201 W. Southbranch Blvd. The company, established in 1960, plans to add 102,016 square feet of space to its current facility, according to plans submitted to the City of Oak Creek. The company’s current facility is 140,000 square feet.
The addition would include a two-story, 12,600-square-foot area with a lobby, lounge and locker area on the first floor and office space on the second floor. The rest of the expansion will be for bread production, providing room for three more processing lines, two more large ovens and a refrigeration area.
