Johnson Controls names new leaders

Glendale-based Johnson Controls Inc. has promoted two employees to senior executive positions.

Alex Molinaroli has been named vice chairman and Brian Kesseler has been promoted to vice president and president of the Power Solutions business.

Molinaroli will report to Stephen A. Roell, chairman and CEO. He will continue to serve as a member of the Executive Operating Team and other key management committees. He will also work with Roell on strategy and operational performance.

Kesseler will report to Molinaroli, leading the global Power Solutions team. He will work on energy storage technology projects, support vehicle energy efficiency standards and advocate for sound energy and environmental policies, the company said. He is now a member of the Executive Operating Team.

“Both Alex and Brian have been outstanding contributors to our company’s sustained success for decades, and these appointments greatly strengthen our strategic and leadership capabilities for today and the future,” Roell said.
